Stallions
When I bestride him, I soar - I am a hawk
He trots the air - the earth sings when he touches it
The basest horn of his hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes.
W. Shakespeare, Henry V
The stallions of Belvoir Hill Farm have all been selected based first on conformation, second for their temperament and trainability, third for their movement and performance; and lastly on their pedigree and bloodlines. Bloodlines are very important in the selection process, however, without first obtaining the top three criteria; good bloodlines alone would be of little value. Read more stallion selection criteria here.
Breed only the best to the very best, and hope for the best!
These stallions will produce offspring that are correct and beautiful, in addition to being working horses capable of being ridden by all levels of riders, not just professionals.
The Spanish or Andalusian cross is the ultimate one. As history dictates, the Spanish horse is an improvement sire and will improve any breed of horse it is crossed with, as has been determined by many successful generations of this breeding. Refinement, high-bred vigour, athleticism, as well as excellent temperaments and trainability will result.
All four of these stallions carry strong and proven Spanish Blood.
